Just messing about – this was taken with an infra-red filter on the camera (mainly to increase the exposure time) and then I panned the tripod as the shutter was open.

Hello, please do not stop posting, your pictures are beautiful. I just stumbled across your former blog while looking for some photographs to paint. I always google when trying to get inspired when I haven’t gotten out recently for a walk and my own camera. I am an amateur photographer and loved the tips on your old blog. I have very little money to get started on a nice camera or editing programs so some of the tips like forgetting the 3rds rule, remembering the foreground and watch what you wear are even helpful to me with a point and click basic camera. I just wanted to let you know you have been read. . . and seen.
